Pair to Australian Flying Corps: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19 with MID. 474 1-AM. W.Williams. A.F.C. A.I.F. Both medals impressed. Display stored in a hinged-lid case, a few small edge nicks on first medal, otherwise good very fine.
Together with 1st Class Air Mechanic (LAC) bronze rank badge.
MID: LG 12/1/1920, p507; CAG 1/4/1920, p545 to 2/AM W.Williams for distinguished and gallant services as mentioned in despatch of 5 March 1919 by General Sir E.H.H.Allenby G.C.B., G.C.M.G., Commander-in-Chief, Egyptian Expeditionary Forces.
