Lucilla, wife of Lucius Verus, (died A.D.182), AE sestertius, Rome Mint, (21.16 g), obv. draped bust to right of Lucilla with hair bound up behind head, around LVCILLA AVG ANTONINI AVG F, rev. IVNONI LVCINAE around, Juno seated to left, holding flower and an infant, S C in exergue, (S.5504, RIC 1747, C.37) (illustrated); another, (23.97 g), rev. Venus seated left, holding Victory and sceptre, S C across, (S.5508, RIC 1771); another, (24.06 g), rev. Pietas standing, head right, holding patera, altar before, S C across, (S.5505, RIC 1756); AE As, (16.75 g), rev. Pietas standing left by altar, (S.5518, RIC 1757); another, (10.55 g), rev. Vesta standing left holding simpulum and palladium, altar at foot, left, (S.5528, RIC 1780). Toned, poor - good fine, some scarce. (5)
