Antoninus Pius, (A.D. 138-161), AE as, (7.47 g), Rome Mint, issued A.D. 154-155, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS [AVG PI VS P] P TR P XVIII, rev. Britannia seated to left on rock, to left shield and sceptre, around BRITANN[IA] COS IIII, in exergue S C, (S.4296, RIC 934, C.117). Dark brown patina, edge chip, very fine and rare.
