SC on circular shield supported by two capricorns back to back, globe below, (S.2569, RIC 63, RSC 497 [Vespasian], BMC 131 [Titus]); Lucius Verus, (A.D.161-169), silver denarius, issued 165, Rome Mint, (2.84 g), obv. L VERVS AVG ARM PARTH MAX, laureate head right, rev. Parthian seated right, hands tied behind back, bow and shield in front, around TR P V IMP III COS II, (S.5388, RIC 540, RSC 273).
