Nero, (A.D. 41-54), AE dupondius, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 67, (11.99 g), obv. laureate head to right, with globe at point of neck off flan, around IMP NERO CAESAR AVG TR P P P, rev. SECVRITAS AVGVSTI around, Securitas in relaxed pose enthroned to right, head resting in right hand and holding sceptre in left hand, lighted altar and torch at feet, SC in exergue, (S.1967, RIC 395, BMC 341, C.325). Dark green patina, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
