Nero, (A.D. 54-68), AE As, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 67, (10.61 g), obv. bare head of Nero to right, globe at point of bust, around IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR P PP, rev. S C across, Victory flying left holding shield inscribed SPQR, (cf.S.1976, RIC 605, C.302) (illustrated); others similar, (3); another, obv. head left, (RIC 313 and 522); dupondius, rev. view of temple of Janus with latticed window to left and door on right, (cf.S.1964, RIC 306); rev. Securitas in relaxed pose enthroned to right, (S.1968, RIC 597, BMC 347, C.325) (2). Toned, fine - very fine, scarce. (9)
