Henry III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3b, issued 1248-1250, ADA/M ON/ OXO/NOF, (1.30 g), rev. Oxford Mint, (S.1363, N.987). Good very fine and very scarce.
Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, from Noble Numismatics Sale 60 (lot 3609) and from the Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket (3/6) and illustrated on supplementary plate 77 (row 1 no 5), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1203 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
