Henry III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3a, issued 1248-1250, NIC/OLE/ON S/ROS, (1.42 g), rev. Shrewsbury mint, (S.1362, N.986). Good very fine and rare.
Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, from Noble Numismatics Sale 60 (lot 3622) and from the Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket (3/6) and illustrated on supplementary plate 76 (row 3 no 2), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1203 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
