Stephen, (1135-1154), silver penny, Watford type, Bury St. Edmunds Mint, issued 1136-1145, (1.38 g), obv. bust right, crowned and diademed, holding sceptre in right hand, +STIEFNE RE around, rev. GILEBERT: ON: ED: (Gilebert of Bury St. Edmunds), (S.1278, N.873, BMC i). Very fine and very rare with complete reverse legend.
