Harold I, (1035-1040), silver penny, London Mint, issued 1038-1040, (1.12 g), obv. diademed armoured bust to left, in front shield and sceptre, HAR OLD REX around, rev. voided long cross, with fleur de lis and two pellets in angles, around +PYN SIGE ON L VND (Wynsige of London), (S.1165, North 803, BMC 80, type V). Toned, good very fine and very rare.
