India, ancient and medieval, various in a shoebox in packets briefly described, includes assorted punch-marked silver various types noted large half satamana of Archaic period (5.05 g), (illustrated) (cf.M.3878ff), also smaller from Mauryan Empire (7), (cf.M.4153ff); assorted Kushan and successors AE (19, one illustrated), Kanishka and later (9); Northern India, the Pratiharas, silver drachms of 1st series (730-836) (2) (M.325-334); similar of the Boar series Bhoja I (c.836-1019) etc, (M.335-348) (7) Vinayakapala I c.912-944 AD and successors (25) (M.349-354); similar silver drachms of Pala coinage various types (23) (M.377-402); Ancient India, AE (21) Taxila type (cf.M.4420-2 etc); Indo-Sassanian silver drachms (19) (M.419-440); Anonymous Kiderate coinage (M.3703-3707); a hoard of 25 (uncleaned) from Jammu-Kashmir (cf.M.3743-3769), lot includes various notes by Dr. Flynn.
