China, an interesting collection stored in a green Lighthouse stock book, noted a range of Local overprint issues of Manchukuo of 1936 and 1944, some as blocks, pairs etc a few with the Nationalist sun as part of the overprint, O/P in various colours (red, green, purple, blue etc) noted as Chu Kia Kan, Chu Ho, Hu Ho, Chan Chun Chen, Hu Lan, Sze Fang Tai, Yen Show, lot also includes perfins of the junk and reaper series of 1913 (12), lot also includes China $2 (SG 305 CV £600) (illustrated) also several unlisted denominations and colours of 1942 - 1946 Sun Yat-sen issues ($2 blue joined vertical pair, $2 brown purple, $10 red brown part imperf., airstamp O/P on 1/2 cent General Teng K'eng unlisted type, sets of the Martyrs mint with extras; includes several Municipal Posts of Treaty Ports, including Ichang 15 cand. (2) mint (CV £110 each), another 3 mce used (CV £120), 2 cand O/P, Nanking used, Wuhu and O/P on Kewkiang, Chinkiang with 5c O/P (SG D40 £100); others of Junk series with O/P in 1927 for Machuria (Kirin and Heilungkiang) to 50 cents mint, Air mails of 1932 in large blocks of 10 used with O/P revaluations, (SG 820-824); assorted dragon stamp issues of 1885; Shanghai Postage dues mint O/P, etc. Mostly mint, some used a few with paper toning, contains many scarce items.
