Ancient Roman antoninianii, Trajan Decius, (A.D. 249-251), Rome mint, issued 250-1, (3.37 g), obv. radiate draped bust to right, rev. Uberitas standing left with purse and cornucopiae, (S.9384, RIC 28b, RSC 105); Probus, (A.D. 276-282), Cyzicus mint (4.09 g), obv. radiate bust to left of Probus cuirassed, wearing imperial mantle and holding eagle tipped sceptre, rev. Sol in facing quadriga, holding globe and whip, around SOLI INVICTO, KA**D* in exergue, (cf.S.12041, RIC 864) (illustrated); Claudius II Gothicus, (A.D. 268-270), Rome mint, rev. Providentia standing left, (S.11363, RIC 91); another, Antioch mint, (3.80 g), rev. Neptune standing left with dolphin and trident, (S.11353, RIC 214). Toned, fine - nearly extremely fine. (4)
