Octavian and Julius Caesar, (assassinated 44 B.C.), AE sestertius or dupondius, South Italy mint (possibly Puteoli), struck 38 B.C., (18.39 g), obv. head of Octavian to right, around CAESAR [DIVI].F, rev. wreathed head of Julius Caesar to right, around DIVOS IVLI[V]S, (S.1569, RPC 620, Cr.535/1, CRI 308, Syd. 1335, BMC 106, RBW 1822). Light green toning, struck off centre on reverse, fine and rare.
