Cappadocia, Caesarea, Gaius (Caligula), (A.D. 37-41), silver drachm, issued A.D. 37-38, (3.51 g), obv. bare head of Caligula to right, around C CAESAR AVG GERMANICVS, rev. IMPERATOR PONT MAX [AVG TR POT], simpulum and lituus, (S.1798, RIC 63, RSC 12, RPC 3624). Grey toning, some surface pitting, good fine and rare.
