Claudius, (A.D. 41-54), AE As, Rome mint, issued A.D. 50-54, (11.67 g), obv. bare head to left of Claudius around TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP, rev. LIBERTAS AVGVSTA, S C across field, Libertas standing right holding pileus, (S.1859, RIC 97, C.47). Attractive brown patina, very fine or better and scarce.
