Description

Memorial Plaque WWI, named to Samuel Entwhistle Howarth, affixed to the centre of a large timber block (approx 16.5x16.5x3cm), affixed at the top right corner is a Canadian Memorial Cross (GRI), without ribbon, reverse details unknown as it is glued to the timber. Plaque cleaned, traces of past oxidation, otherwise fine, the cross very fine.

Sam Howarth was born 24Nov1884 at Bury, Lancashire, England; Enl.11Jan1915 at London, Ontario when a resident of St Thomas, Ontario, Canada.
