Group of Eight: 1914 Star, - clasp - 5th Aug.-22Nov. 1914; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19; 1939-35 Star; Pacific Star; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45; Efficiency Medal (GVIR) with Australia suspender bar and two clasps. L/Cpl D.Cox 2 W.York.R on first medal, 8915 A.C.Sjt D.Cox W.York.R. on second and third, VX129281 D.Cox on fourth to seventh medals, VX129281 S/Sgt D.Cox A.M.P. on eighth medal. Last medal engraved, all others impressed. Mounted and framed with photo and metal name plaque (frame 44.5x24.3cm). Very fine.

David Cox, foreman sheet & metal worker, born London, England, 1901; Served in Gallipoli and France in WWI with the West Yorkshire Regiment; WWII: Enl.03Jul1940 in Seymour, Vic; Served in New Guinea and BCOF Japan.

Together with Certificate of Discharge from the West Yorkshire Regiment, dated 16th April 1918 (certificate with tears to edges and silver fish holes), and twelve pages of his Australian service record.
