In The West Australian newspaper on 18 August 1947 the friends of the late Mr Robert Edward Owen, late of Bunbury and Fremantle and formerly of the W.A.M.I. (South African War) and 10th Light Horse (1st A.I.F.) were respectfully informed that his remains would be interred in the Church of England Cemetery, Fremantle on that same day.
