J. McR.Kerr was a member of the Third Bushmen's Contingent; Emb.27Feb1900 - 6 officers and 93 other ranks; Kerr promoted to Sgt Major 16Oct1900; RTA 29Apr1901; Arrived Adelaide c25Jun1901.
With copy of medal roll and also copy of a large newspaper article being an interview of Sergeant-Major J.McR.Kerr on the activities of his unit during the Anglo-Boer War.
