Shah Tahmasp I ibn Isma'il, (A.H. 930-984) (A.D. 1524-1576), silver two shahi, fourth western standard, Astarabad mint, issued A.H. 978 = A.D. 1570-1571, another Jafarabad mint A.H. 979 = A.D. 1571-1572, (A.2601, Farahbakhsh 34-6 and 34-7), silver shahi, Sabzewar mint, A.H. 961 = A.D. 1553-1554, another Sari mint but not dated (c.970), (A.2602, cf.Farahbakhsh 28-1, 33-6, cf.M.2047). Weak in places, otherwise mostly very fine. (4)
