Pair to Camel Corps: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19.2272 Pte. W.Geoghegan. Cml. Cps. A.I.F. Both medals impressed. Swing mounted, a few contact marks on first medal, otherwise very fine.

Together with an oxidised bronze Australia shoulder title.

William Geoghegan, labourer, age 42, born at Mount Gambier, Sth Aust; Enl.23Nov1915 at Adelaide, Sth Aust in Reinforcements for 9LHR; Emb.29Apr1916; TOS 3LHTR at Tel-el-Kebir 03Jun1916; TOS Imperial Camel Corps at Abbassia 25Jul1916; In and out of hospital sick 27Jul-07Oct1916 in Egypt, with dysentery and then haematuria (urinary tract infection), and finally haemorrhoids; TOS X Camel Corps 27Oct1916 in Moascar; sick to hospital 02Dec1916 with rheumatism and then mild tuberculosis; RTA 21Jan1917 for change; Disch.27Aug1917 Medically Unfit; Died 14May1940 and buried at the AIF Cemetery, West Terrace, Adelaide, Sth Aust.
