Western Australia, Kalgoorlie Electric Tramways, 190[6], two hundred and fifty £1 shares (London issue), green print. With three vertical folds, small tear to right side edge, light staining along top edge, otherwise good very fine.

The English company Kalgoorlie Electric Tramways was given the concession to construct and operate an electric tramway system in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The rolling stock which consisted of fifteen single track and ten bogie 'cross seated' closed cars were built by J.G.brill Company in Philadelphia, USA. The first section between Kalgoorlie and Boulder was opened in May 1902 with other lines being operated by January 1903. In May 1949 the company was taken over by the Eastern Goldfields Transport Board who closed the system in 1952.
