Clodius Albinus, (A.D. 195-197), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 194, (3.24 g), obv. bare head of Clodius Albinus to right, around D CLOD SEPT ALBIN CAES, rev. around MINER [PA CI]F COS II, Minerva standing to left holding spear shield and olive branch, (S.6144, BMC 98, RIC 7, RSC 48); another, Rome mint, issued A.D. 195, (3.45 g), obv. bare head of Clodius Albinus to right, around D CLOD SEPT ALBIN CAES, rev. around COS II, Aesculapius standing left, feeding snake which coils up around staff at his side, (S.6140, RIC 2, BMC 88, RSC 9). Toned, very fine and scarce. (2)
