Nerva, (A.D. 96-98), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 97, (3.46 g), obv. laureate head of Nerva to right, around IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR P COS III P P, rev. around CONCORDIA EXERCITVVM two clasped hands holding a legionary eagle on a prow, (S.3020, RIC 14, RSC 20) (illustrated); another, (3.35 and 3.22g), rev. around LIBERTAS PVBLICA, Libertas standing left, holding pileus and sceptre, (cf.S.3034, RIC 31, RSC 117) (2); another, (3.04 g), rev. Fortuna standing to left, holding rudder and cornucopiae, (S.3025, RIC 16, RSC 66); another, (3.13 g), rev. sacrificial implements, simpulum, sprinkler, ewer and lituus, (S.3023, RIC 24, RSC 48).
