Ancient Roman AE issues of Galba, Rome Mint, including, As, issued A.D. December 68, (12.20 g), obv. laureate head of Galba to right, rev. S C, legionary eagle between two standards, each set on a prow, (S.2137, RIC 509, C.267) (illustrated); another, (12.72 g), rev. Libertas, draped, standing left with pileus and vertical rod, (S.2134, RIC 366); another, (10.58 g), rev. Vesta, draped, seated left on low chair, holding palladium in right hand, (S.2138, RIC 375); dupondius, (12.07 g), rev. Felicitas standing left, holding caduceus and cornucopiae, (S.2127, RIC 411); another, (10.16 g), rev. Pax standing to left, holding branch and cornucopiae, (cf.S.2129, RIC 280). Toned, some surface pitting, good - nearly very fine and scarce to rare. (5)
