Augustus, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE orichalcum dupondius, struck 18 B.C., Rome mint, Ti. Sempronius Gracchus moneyer (14.98 g), obv. AVGVSTVS/ TRIBVNIC/ POTEST, legend in three lines within oak wreath, rev. TI SEMPRONIVS GRACCVS IIIVIR AAAFF,around large S C. (S.1670, RIC 349. BMC 199, C.525). Deeply toned, lightly tooled, very fine and scarce.
