Italy, Calabria, Taras, (302-281 B.C.), silver stater, (7.86 g), obv. naked boy rider crowning stationary horse to right, **Q* below, rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, pointing, **TARAS* below (cf.S.363, Vl.449-452 [similar dies], cf.WFB 489 [similar dies]). Attractive very fine with a flattened segment, scarce.
