Italy, Kingdom of Sicily, Ferdinand II "the Catholic", as King of Spain and Sicily. (1479-1516). silver tari, (3.47 g), Messina mint, obv. crowned and quartered coat-of arms of Spain (1st and 4th) and Sicily and Aragon (2nd and 3rd), rev. crowned eagle standing facing, head left, (Spahr 118, Biaggi 1358). Some hoard patination, otherwise nearly very fine.
