Diocletian, (A.D. 284-305), AE folles, Aquileia Mint, issued A.D. 299, (9.00 g), obv. laureate cuirassed bust of Diocletian to right, around IMP DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV L I ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, AQS in exergue, (S.12774, RIC 27a) (illustrated); another, Cyzicus Mint, issued 297-299, (9.12 g), (cf.S.12774, RIC 12a). Toned, good very fine - nearly extremely fine. (2)
