Severus Alexander, (A.D.222-235), silver denarius, issued 235, Rome mint, (3.90 g), obv. laureate bust to right, draped and cuirassed, around IMP ALEXANDER PIVS AVG, rev. P M TR P XIIII COS III P P, Sol standing left with raised hand and whip, (S.7917, RIC 125, RSC 453). Extremely fine and scarce.
