Akarnania, Leukas (Colony of Corinth), (460-450 B.C.), silver stater, (8.34 g), obv. Pegasos with curled wing flying to right, **L below, rev. head of Athena to right in Corinthian helmet over a leather cap, within incuse square, (cf.S.2266, Calciati 16/2 [This Coin illustrated, p.392], BMC 6 [p.126]). Very fine - nearly extremely fine and scarce.
