Description

Memorial Plaque WWI, named to Harry Wilson; another but renamed to Alfred Victor Pippard. Both mounted in a timber frame under perspex and with a Rising Sun collar badge between them and inscribed plaques giving details of both casualties, very fine.

Alfred Victor Pippard, boiler maker, age 30, born at Port Melbourne, Vic; Enl.08Jan1916 at Melbourne, Vic; Emb.21Mar1916; TOS 24 Bn 21Sep1916; KIA 05Oct1917 Belgium; Buried at The Buttes New British Cemetery, Polygon Wood, Zonnebeke, near Ypres.
