The Commercial Banking Company of Sydney Limited, one pound, Sydney, 2nd August 1895, No. E 588217 (MVR 5b). Several vertical and one horizontal fold, crisp and original, good very fine and rare, especially in this condition.
Together with an old envelope addressed to Stanley C.Wilson, Armidale, N.S.W. 'For Safe Custody' (presumably the note was once folded up in this).
