Vabalathus and Aurelian, (A.D. 271-2), billon antoninianus, Antioch mint, (3.02 g), obv. IMP C AVRELIANVS AVG around, radiate and cuirassed bust to right of Aurelian, B below, rev. VABALATHVS V C R IM D R around, laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Vabalathus, (S.11718, RIC 381, C.1); Carinus, (A.D. 283-285), antoninianus, Rome mint (4.09 g), obv. radiate and cuirassed bust right, around IMP C M AVR CARINVS PF AVG, rev. Virtus standing left, right hand resting on shield, holding spear in left, **G*KA in exergue, (S.-, RIC V 4). Toned, very fine - good very fine and rare. (2)
