Sol standing to left, raising right hand and holding globe, around AETERNITATI AVG, (S.8603, RIC 83, RSC 41); another similar, (4.09 g), obv. similar IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, rev. IOVI CONSERVATORI, Jupiter standing left, Gordian standing before, (S.8614, RIC 2, RSC 105); another issued A.D. 239, (4.53 g), obv. radiate bust right, around IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, rev. PROVIDENTIA AVG, with Providentia standing left holding a globe and transverse sceptre, (S.8655, RIC 4, RSC 302); another, issued 242, Antioch mint, (4.44 g), obv. radiate bust right, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev.
