Julia Mamaea, mother of Severus Alexander, (A.D.222-235), AE sestertius, issued 224, Rome mint, (21.47 g), obv. diademed and draped bust to right of Julia Mamaea, IVLIA MAMA EA AVGVSTA, rev. VENVS FELIX, SC in exergue, Venus seated to left, holding Cupid and sceptre, (S.8233, RIC 701, C.69). Green toning, very fine and scarce.
