Thessaly, Pharsalos, (mid-late 5th century B.C.), silver triobol or hemidrachm, (2.88 g), obv. Athena head to right in close fitting helmet, rev. horse's head to right in incuse square, **FARSA* around, (cf.S.2189, BCD Thessaly II 663); Thrace, Island off, Thasos, (340-300 B.C.), silver trihemiobol, (0.82 g), obv. Satyr with kylix running to left, rev. amphora, around **QAS IWN* all within incuse square, (S.1755, SNG Cop.1029-1030, SNG Tubingen 943-5) (illustrated); Macedon, Lete, silver trihemiobol or eighth stater, (c.500-480 B.C.), (1.03 g), obv. naked satyr running to right, rev. four part incuse square of very archaic form, (S.1302, SNG Berry 33, SNG Cop. 191-4). Toning, fine - nearly very fine, scarce. (3)
