Vintage helmet plume of red and white feathers, (approx 18cm high), in japanned storage tin (approx 25.5cm high), securing latches at both ends, with small brass plate on side, 'Ranken & Co/Calcutta', attached at one side is a large label from M.B. & Co. Ltd., Covent Garden, and penned on the label, 'Color/Plume/Centre screw(?)'. Plume good very fine, tin with loss of colour and a few dents, good.
