Victorian Military Forces, 1855, shako plate in gilt bronze (104mm) (Grebert p181), no lugs ever fitted and printed on reverse in white paint, '/8507', perhaps a specimen badge by the maker, Stokes. Toned and some loss of gilt, otherwise very fine.
