Trio: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. Naming details on star not visible due to mounting, 3222 A/Sjt H.Wright N.Staff R. on last two medals. Impressed.; also Memorial Plaque WWI named to Thomas Hannam, and a Gallipoli Medallion 1915 issued in 1967 (C.1915/3), naming details on reverse not visible due to mounting. All mounted in a timber frame under perspex on a khaki cloth backing together with a detail plaque stating that Thomas Hannam 27th Bn A.I.F. KIA near windmill at Pozieres 4/8/16, very fine.

Note on back of frame states that the trio of medals were issued to 3222 A/Sjt H.Wright and the Anzac Medallion 1915 is named to Thomas Hannam.

582 Thomas Hannam, labourer, age 23, born at Adelaide, Sth Aust; Enl.08Feb1915 at Keswick, Sth Aust; Emb.31May1915; to Gallipoli 04Sep1915; WIA 18Sep1915 GSW arm and left breast, Gallipoli; reported missing 16Mar1916 at Alexandria; rejoined battalion at France 26Mar1916; faced various charges and convicted resulting in loss of pay; drunkenness and failing to obey an Officer's order, France 24May1916 charged and convicted with loss of pay 10Jun1916; drunkenness again 19Jul1916 charged and convicted with loss of pay; reported WIA 04Aug1916 and missing subsequently recorded as KIA, France; name recorded at Villers Bretonneux Memorial.
