Thrace, Island off Thrace, Thasos, (after 148 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.40 g), obv. head of the young Dionysos wearing ivy wreath to right, rev. naked Herakles standing facing head to left, holding club and lion skin, around **HPAKLEOUS SWTHROS QASIWN*, to left in field a monogram **HDTR*, (S.1759, BMC 72-73, 67-71, SNG Cop. 1049, 1046-1048). Slightly bent, othewise, good fine.
