The London Chartered Bank of Australia, uniface black and white printer's proof on paper, one pound, Melbourne, 18-, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co, London, SPECIMEN stamped in Manager signature reserve, pencilled 'Nov 9th 1863/plate 2:8' in lower margin (MVR.1a). Two tears in bottom margin, toned, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
