Vetranio, (350 A.D.), AE 25 (centenionalis), Siscia Mint, (5.06 g), obv. Around D N VETRA NIO P F AVG, laureate bust right, of Vetranio, draped and cuirassed, in field to left A; rev. HOC SIG NO VICTOR ERIS around, in exergue . B S I S *, in field to left A, Emperor diademed, bare headed and in military dress, standing facing, head to left, holding standard with Chi-Rho on the banner and a spear. To the right stands Victory, crowning him with a wreath and holding a palm branch, (S.18905, RIC 283). Very fine and scarce.
