Licinius II as Caesar, (A.D. 317-324), AE follis, (3.17 g), Siscia mint, issued 320, rev. laureate head to left, around LICINIVS NOB CAES, rev. VIRTVS EXERCIT around, two captives seated either side of standard inscribed VOT XX, S F in fields, (cf.S.15460, RIC 114 R3) (illustrated); another, Alexandria mint, (2.40 g), obv. around D N VAL LICIN LICINIVS NOB C, helmeted cuirassed bust left, holding spear and shield, rev. around IOVI CONSERVATORI, Jupiter standing left, holding Victory on globe and sceptre, eagle at foot left, captive to right, X over II**G* to right, SMALA in exergue, (S.-, RIC 30A). First coin deeply toned, very fine or better and scarce, second nearly very fine with earthen encrustation. (2)
