Galerius Maximian, as Caesar, (A.D. 305-311), AE folles, Thessalonica mint, issued A.D. 302-3, (9.55 g), obv. laureate head of Galerius to right, around GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS NOB CAES, rev. around GENIO POPV L I ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, in exergue .TS., **G* in right field, (S.14371, RIC 26b). With some silvering, extremely fine and rare as such.
