Maximianus, (A.D. 286-305), AE follis, Thessalonica mint, issued A.D. 302-3, (10.16 g), obv. laureate head of Maximianus to right, around IMP C M A MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV L I ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, **G* in right field, TS in exergue, (S.13263, RIC 23b); Galerius as Caesar, (AD 293-305), AE follis, (10.65 g), Carthage mint, 4th officina, issued 299-303, obv. laureate head right, rev. Carthago standing facing, head left, holding fruits in both hands, **D* in exergue, (S.14411, RIC 23b); another, Cyzicus mint, (9.49 g), issued 297-299, obv. laureate head right, rev. Genius standing facing, head left, holding patera and cornucopiae, (cf.S.13269, RIC 9b) (illustrated). Toned, good very fine - extremely fine, the last with good silvering. (3)
