Severina, wife of Aurelian, (A.D. 270-275), billon denarius, Rome mint, issued 274-5, (2.77 g), obv. diademed and draped bust of Severina to right, around SEVERINA AVG, rev. VENVS FELIX, Venus standing to left, holding Cupid? and sceptre, in exergue E, (S.11710, RIC 6); Florian, (A.D. 276), billon antoninianus, Rome mint, (3.59 g), obv. radiate bust of Florian to right, around IMP C FLORIANVS AVG, rev. around SALVS AVG, Salus standing left, holding sceptre feeding snake rising from altar, (S.11872, RIC 40, C.83). Porous surface on the first coin, otherwise good fine - very fine, both very scarce. (2)
