Aemilian, (253 A.D.), silver antoninianus, Rome Mint, (3.70 g), obv. Radiate bust to right of Aemilian, draped and cuirassed, around IMP AEMILIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. IOVI CONSERVAT around, Jupiter standing to left extending right hand, with hanging cloak, over Aemilian, holding thunderbolt and sceptre, (S.9833, RIC 4, C.16). Toned, extremely fine and rare.
Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3902) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
