Balbinus, (238 A.D.), silver denarius, (2.71 g), obv. IMP C D CAEL BALBINVS AVG, laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Balbinus, rev. IOVI CONSERVATORI Jupiter standing left holding thunderbolt and sceptre (S.8487, RSC 8, RIC 2, BMC 22). Good very fine with original hoard patina, rare.
